This series of logos is for a Property Maintenance company. They handle all aspects, including janitorial, lawn maintenance, pressure washing, window cleaning, carpet cleaning, etc. Therefore I created the first logo without a tagline to cover everything. Then I manipulated the others according to their specific service.
This is the logo I created for the 2010 University of Tennessee Football Training Camp. It was also printed on white shirts as pictured above.
The director for the Knoxville Track Club approached me and wanted an update given to their logo. They didn't want to stray too far from the original, as in they like the Copperplate font encircled around an image of runners. And so this was the result.
This logo I created for a photographer who is a friend of mine. He liked the phrase "catch you on the flipside" and so therefore, he came up with this name.
Every year, Sea Ray holds a track and field event at the University of Tennessee. For the past 3 years, I have designed the logo for the event. This logo was from 2008.
This client cleaned windows at various businesses and wanted an identity for his business. The name, I thought, was pretty clever. I immediately thought of a Windex label of sorts. That was probably the easiest direction of thought, but nonetheless, I came up with this design.
Again, here was a client with a long name. I try to keep from making logos predominantly horizontal or vertical. I want them to look the same on a business card, letterhead, t-shirt, truck, etc. So what's one of the best ways to design a logo for a company with a long name? Stack it, of course.
The client is a personal trainer. The name is to indicate the beginning, or genesis, of your body's transformation. So the idea with this logo design was to keep it simple, yet convey the idea plainly. I included the atom-like symbol to perpetuate the beginning building blocks of life, if you will, but I designed the logo to stand by itself also without that symbol.
